Sewer rinse

2017 château 29g , this is my 1st time out, newbie rver. Got the sewer line hooked up fine, was reviewing book for unhooking in the morning. I don't see any faucet hookup to rinse the line? Help!

Always dump the black first, then the gray which will flush out the hose. After finishing the dump I leave the hose connected to the sewer, disconnect from the coach, and then give it a quick rinse with the water hose. Never a problem with a stinky hose.

X2 with SuperD.

When I am rinsing the hose with my water hose, I am careful to not touch the drain hose with the water hose. I like to keep the water hose clean.

I also carry a non drinking water hose if I want to get serious about cleaning the drain hose, or anything else.

I don't use the drinking water hose for anything but drinking water! I usually always hook up a Y connector at the faucet, one side for drinking water hose, other side for general purpose hose. I took a 25 foot hose and cut it in half, put on new connectors, now I have a shorter hose that is easier to deal with and does probably 90% of what I need, very handy that way.

Not that I am paranoid but I also have a back flow preventer on the general purpose side of my Y connector, just to be safe.
