Air compressor -

I have a 2017 Miramar 37.1. Tire pressure 95-100. What is a good portable air compressor to carry on the unit.
Thanks

Depends on how fast and how far you need to pump up your tires.

I purchased and mounted the Harbor Freight 12v 150 PSI Compact Air Compressor which works pretty good if you just need to top off your tires, but when I needed it to pump up a tire from 20 psi to 82 psi recently which had picked up a nail (very slow link); it got so hot by 77 psi that it melted the cheap expandable hose by the pump outlet which burst.

So needing a new air compressor and having heard good things about the Ryobi System One compressor, and happen to have several 4 AH System One batteries on me at the time (we were having a work weekend at my wife's Aunt's house to make repairs as she is widowed) I headed down to Home Depot and picked one up for $25 (less the Military discount) and used that to finish the job. I was quite impressed with it and it will now live in my RV tool storage area.

I was just looking at this tool. Glad to see you would recommend.

We picked up a kobalt portable air compressor. Works great. Only downside is that you have to plug it in.

This is the best portably compressor for a large RV in my opinion. The power cord and hoses can handle any length rig and I have no issues putting in 110PSI in my rear tires.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's gone up $100 since I bought it two years ago but it is well worth it IMHO.

I agree. I just bought it last year and love it. I had a construction guy with a flat tire on his pick up, in front of my house. He asked if I had an air compressor... I came out of my garage with that little pump and he just laughed. That is until It pumped up his flat tire. I have to admit I was a little surprised myself.

I picked up a Porter-Cable for about $100 new. It’s A/C and has a 150 psi max. Not sure how it would do filling a tire from 20 psi to 80-90psi, but it works great for general rv use so far. Only problem is it tends to tip over pretty easy.

x2 VIAIR 450P-RV Silver Automatic Portable Compressor Kit. I love, love, love the thing. I use for my RV (if needed) as well as re inflating Jeep tires after I air down. It is really well built in my opinion.

Our tires need 80 lbs max and bought this one. Could not see spending hundreds of dollars for the larger versions. Very happy with it. It has a max pressure of 120 lbs. Viair has had a good reputation especially in the RV world.
Look at the various versions that fit your needs. The expensive ones come with attachments that you may or may not need so why pay for. JMHO

This is the same one I got. I also needed it to fit in a space that's too small for the larger ones.

I carry a Craftsman inflator similar to the ViAir, but it is 110v. My coach has a generator and I hace a cord long enough to reach around to all the wheels.

If interested, it fits perfectly into one of those ammo cases for protection.
