Axxera AV614BH - Bluetooth Device List

Anyone had any luck finding the Bluetooth device list on the AV614BH?

According to the instruction manual, it should be on the Bluetooth setup menu. I don't find it on mine.

I have a device that had been paired but now won't connect. The manual suggests going to the device list and deleting the device to solve the problem.

I emailed their customer support about it. I asked two questions, how do I get to the device list and is there a firmware update for the AV614BH.

I got a prompt reply. However, the responder did not address the questions.

Here's the reply:

Go to: General Operation then ...

Bluetooth • Bluetooth - Turn Bluetooth signal on or off. •
Auto Connect - Select "On" to program the unit to automatically connect to a Bluetooth device. Select "Off" to disable the auto connect feature. •
Auto Answer - Select "On" to program the unit to automatically accept incoming calls via Bluetooth. Select "Off" to disable the auto answer

Any help will be appreciated,

Not sure about the Bluetooth device list, I'll have to check mine after an appointment this morning.

Firmware, there is a firmware update on their website at this URL

Supposedly the firmware update corrects a few issues to include HDMI video quality. I might need to give it a try.

I ended up doing a reset.

BTW, my copy of the owner's manual is incorrect on the location of the reset button.

No luck here, tried three times...even re-downloaded the files and error. So, awaiting my computer savvy son to visit home and will get him to try.

I was able to pair my cell phone with the Axxera unit which is identified as Dual BT when you do the pairing. I also downloaded the owner's manual for the exact unit and printed it out for future use.

I just downloaded and unarchived both far files on my Mac.

Thanks for the post. The 7-zip utility worked perfectly and the files unzipped no problem. Winrar and Winzip did not work.

The instructions, as usual, leave a bit to be desired.

For example, it never says that you must press the "Media" screen button to start the process.

Also, the abrupt reset at the end of the firmware update is disconcerting.

Still no device list on the Bluetooth Setup menu.

Anyone find any difference in the menus or operation?

Yes, there should be a remote included. It's tiny, did you look through the Thor folder to see if it is mixed in?

I have a remote. I don't think I have used it, but it did come with the paperwork.
