Unless you have a battery disconnect they will go dead when unplugged from shore power.

Plugging back into shore power should bring them back to full charge

Check what?

The inverter is powered from the batteries, until they are charged it won’t work.
If you were in store mode, you won’t be able to change to in use mode until the batteries get a charge (the use ,store relay operates from those batteries.

Batteries are disconnected from the converter in store mode, so even on shore power they wouldn’t charge.

Either put a charger on them or start the engine and let the alternator charge them. Until you can operate the use, store relay.

Year, Make, Model of RV?

Finding the relay won't do you much good. You need to find your USE/STORE (Salesman/Battery Disconnect) switch that operates the relay. SHould be right at you doorway entry.

Put a decent battery charger on those house batteries, and let them take a good overnight charge.

If the batteries had a charge before you unplugged from shore power, just plug back in and check the next day. If they aren't charged the look for the switch the others have mentioned. I don't know your coach, but a lot just need to be plugged in

That would depend on whether they were 6 volt batteries wired in a series-parallel fashion (most likely) or 12 volt batteries all wired in parallel. Post a picture of your house battery bank for a better answer.

Are your batteries 12 volt... or 6 volt? If they are 12 volt, just hook the charger to one of the batteries.
I'm not sure about 6 volt hookup. My instinct would be to hook to the output cables from the batteries. But I've never hooked a 12 volt charger to 6 volt batteries...

Hook your charger to the terminals on the coach where the battery bank terminates

You will need a manual charger or use jumper cables to initiate charging on dead batteries

Caution-- Racer if you are not sure how to connect a charger, get someone to help. A wrong connection could make this much worse.....

A 4 battery setup is usually 6 volt batteries.

I would have to agree with Hooigan. Based on the questions asked and the follow up posts by the OP I think this problem is a bit beyond their abilities to correct and they should seek out additional assistance. Mistakes at this point can be physically and financially painful.
