I removed my glass top off my propane cooktop inside the Vegas. I was worried it would break someday.

I replaced it with a Camco Bamboo 43571 stove top cover off Amazon. Was stated fits 3 burner cooktop, mine is a 2 burner cooktop.

It wasn't a direct fit but all I had to do was re-drill the bamboo for a couple of the rubber feet position that attach to the cooktop and trim the rubber feet slightly to allow them to easily snap onto the cooktop.

There is always sherry here. I often forget to have some, as there aren't many of us sherry or port folks left.

Nice Sherry or Port is excellent tasting and reasonably priced. Each time we travel around the country, I try various brands

Glad you and the misses are okay.

This sounds like the Thor Customer Service I know. I never owned a Thor product, but I spent a lot of time with them on the phone trying to find one, and they spent a lot of time with me even though I owned nothing. I know when a company is legit. Their Customer Service Dept convinced me. Anybody ever think how may people would be RV Less without TMC.

I had something similar with my Xylem Flojet Macerator that just stopped working for no reason. I spent 3 weeks trying to figure out what may have happened and called them up today they said they would replace

Why am I so shocked, because I read so much stuff about had bad the industry is, but I just hadn't seen it (yet)

Yep. We had a metal cover. Replaced with a wood “no rattle” cover that has rubber feet that fit over the grate to hold it. Also doubles as cutting board/ sturdy countertop. Never thought much of a glass cover. Probably designed by some guy in a dark room that has never used a stovetop.

I’m glad you 2 are ok. Another RV adventure.

But basically if you put tint film on it at least it won't shatter like it did.

And as far as Thor never hearing of such a thing,
We assumed every single one broke at some time or or another for some reason or another.

It might be a nice side gig for someone with a router to make tops of different material and sell on the forums and through cw.

So sorry to hear about your accident. I have a stovetop like that too. Can you keep us posted (Thread: Almost seriously Injured!) as to what you learned from Thor? Perhaps after a number of heating a cooling cycles, the glass becomes brittle and prone to breakage. I'd like to know if and when I should replace my glass top. Thanks
