Another Hurricane 29M Repair/Mod that may help others
A while back I noticed a bead of water at the base of the shower wall where it meets the shower pan, even though the shower had not been used for a day or two. Hmmm? Since I am full time in it, the pump switch has been on continuously.
So I figured the shower faucet connections may be leaking and decided to take a look. I soon found out that getting to see/touch that connection was nigh on impossible. There was absolutely no slack. I barely got a flat blade screwdriver between the wall and the fitting and managed to tighten it a little, but time showed I still had the leak.
After much thought, I bought some flexhose, fittings, etc., planning on making connections with slack. Wound up only putting a coupling and close nipple on the faucet connects and connected to the pecs elbow. It took a good bit of Teflon tape to make the plastic fittings seal, but they did.
Pictures attached for clarity. Maybe this will help someone.
