Fresh water tank drain

I am a new motorhome owner, I have a 2015 Thor Ace 30.1 my fresh water tank is under the bed. I cannot find the valve to open so I can drain out water. Can someone help me?

Thanks

Did you look under the MH where the tank is located? There should be a drain tube with a valve.

Yes we did look under mh and found no valve or anything that would look like a drain

If no drain then turn water pump on and run the water.

Here's something strange. We're hooked up to power, we turn the pump on, open faucets but no water comes out...could it be an airlock? We've verified that there is in fact water in the tank.

Your pump motor should be on the top of the tank. Maybe the valves on the tank are shut off

When the valve is open the knob is parallel to the pipe. Closed its perpendicular

Yes it does but when we turn the faucets on only a little water comes out.

I have a 29.4 and my fresh water tank is behind the bedroom drawer cabinet and the fresh water drain for it is near the bottom of the tank. The only way to access it is to remove the second dresser drawer and literally climb halfway inside to turn the vale 1/4 turn. When it's empty you put it all back together again.
IF this is where your's is, PM me - I just made a quick fix for mine that no longer requires removing the dresser drawer. Much more convenient and only involved a little cutting..........

On our ACE 2016 30.1 the drain valve I use is in the wet bay area...bottom right in the corner...connected the pump. It's a rather odd set up but when I open the valve the tank will drain. I did not locate any additional drain under the mh.

Hope this helps,
Steve

Some one recently commented that models for different years have different modifications. Although yours and mine are quite similar - it would appear their "better idea" for the fresh water drain didn't make it to mine........but I've made my own modification and solved the problem and it only cost me $2.87 and about 5 hrs of taking my time to do it right.
