slideout sync

I really need some quick help. I own a 2013 Thor Palazzo. The large slide is out of sync. I have asked Thor Tech support and have tried the sync process they recommended. Still out of sync. The only way to get it in or out is to go to override. It normally travels about 1/3 out and stalls. Happens with both in and out operation. You can see the uneven travel and it appears that it binds up. Leaving on a big trip in two days. Any ideas?

slideout sync

It appears to be a 13398-B Dual Motor Sychronous Velocity Slide Controller.

My full wall slide was a little off. When I brought it in, it would stop because it looked like it was binding. I measured where it stopped and the front was 1.75 inches further in than the rear. I called their support and was given the following advice (which worked perfect in my case). They said to re-sync the motors, you have to run it in and out a minimum of 7 times. While this took a few times to get it making's way all the way in, once it did, I ran it about 10 times all the way in and then out. By the 7th time, I could see that the front and rear were moving at the same rate and landing at the same time. The motors work off of revolutions to keep in sync. Although I already knew this from my last motorhome, you should hold the switch another 3-5 seconds once the wall reaches the full extend or full retract position and/or until the motors stop moving completely. That's how they sync up. I found out with mine, my DW kept hitting the wrong switches and would slightly move the slide, then switch it the other way again and this messed up the timing.

Hope this helps.

Based on the controller you have a Schwintek system. Here is a link to a video on timing the slide system.
