Antenna replacement.

I need to replace the antenna on my Denali .It's came with all the parts but they are destroyed. Is there a better antenna out there than the old standard crank up?

I've considered one of those....or the similar omnidirectional ones that don't crank up....
But since mine isn't broken, I figured I couldn't justify it.
but in your case probably makes sense.

One thought though, not that it will make much difference in probably 99.99999% of the time, but the crank up takes that antenna up higher which might be helpful 0.00001% of the time. Actually now that i think about it, maybe a bit more because it gets up over the AC which could block the shorter one from that direction..... (mine sits right next to the AC)

For me, the main reason to consider one of those non-crank ones....is to eliminate the possibility of driving off with it up.

Yeah I like the ability to get more hieght out of it when you crank it up. I will have to look into this other style antenna. I assume the crank up ones don't get digital channels?

I have a Winegard Rayzar that does a little better than the Wingman I had. The advantage of the Rayzar is that it receives stations from both sides of the antenna cutting you hunt for stations in half. Easy install and is not to pricey.

Can the three aluminum blades be replaced or do you have to replace the whole antenna with a Winegard RZ-6000 Rayzar z1 RV TV Antenna ? Which I like.

This what came stock on our Thor Axis 25.3 and it works great.
You adjust it once you're parked somewhere and you just "phinesh" it to get "your" channels.

Sorry I can't help with your question. Mine is an old crank up arm with a flat plate on top. Similar to the pic.

No such thing as a "digital" or "HD" antenna. Those are marketing ploys. Your old analog antenna will work just fine.

I replaced my (Non-directional) with this one. The Winegard Air 360+ Amplified Omnidirectional VHF/UHF and FM RV Antenna
Not sure how yours is mounted, but when I replace my non-directional one.
It's large enough that it covered all the old caulking and screw holes, then I only had to attach the existing coaxial cable to it. Screw it down, caulk it and done. Easy, Peasy.
Very happy with it. No more have to turn the antenna one way or another. Also I did not get the wifi booster with it, just the antenna.

Only issue with this type is that some signals come from two different directions. So when you point this and program the TV, your only getting the ones its pointed towards.
Thats why I changed to the 360 degree, NON-Directional type.
