Antenna vs Cable redemption

I have a newbee question. I have a 2017 Thor Miramar 37.1. When I go to scan channels on cable all is ok. When I scan air or antenna, nothing. What I am I doing wrong.

Thanks

Do you have your power booster button pushed on when scanning for over the air and off to scan for cable?

I can scan for OTA channels where we currently are in the mountains of southern West Virginia... and get nothing!!

However, if we were hooked up to cable...

Check that your TV "source" in settings is selected as "antenna" or "cable" depending on what you're scanning for.

There's other options if you have internet via cell signal... we typically use a Fire Stick with a hotspot setup from one of our phones.

This is what you're looking for. It may or may not have an LED. Button needs to be pushed IN for over-the-air channels via the antenna. Button needs to be OUT for cable channels. TV needs to do a scan for either antenna or cable channels.

If your Miramar is like mine, the booster is located in the cupboard right above your entry door.
