Any ideas

I am on a trip and watched a movie on my outdoor tv last night. Then turned it off.

Now it will not turn on. All electrics around seem to be fine but it is like the TV went dead.

Any ideas?

Tuscany 45 AT.

Have you tried testing the outlet by plugging in something else?

Not yet as I have to remove a lot of stuff first. It is the outdoor tv and I was hoping someone had a Try this dummy moment.

That outlet is on your GFI circuit, are the other outsets (not indoor tvs) in kitchen or bathroom (or other outside outlets) working?

Yes. I checked those as they trip this morning (too many hairdryers going). I can only find one for the entire bus which seems strange.

Every MH I have heard from on theses forums have 2 GFI circuits. look in storage areas, under shelving, behind doors. That is defiantly a GFI circuit. Other outlets may be out. check everyone within 6' of a water supply and every ground level storage area.

Same happened to mine but it’s dead. I only have a thin blue line at the bottom. Time to replace with a quality smart TV.
It’s gonna be a bit tricky because the cord disappears into the side wall of the outside cubby and can’t trace the wire. No plugs around that area inside except the outlet in the top cabinet. Wiring diagram doesn’t show the TV connection. Did they hard wire it into the back of the outlet?? [emoji848]
Bet me!!!!!

Probably an outlet behind the jackknife sofa.

Try flipping the breaker for the fireplace on and off

Actually flip all the 15 AMP breakers on and off

My load management will turn off based on load and sometimes requires the breakers to be flipped to reset

Does the central vac still work?

Did you try the power button on the TV? Remote batteries go dead sometimes and won't power it up.
Had the same problem about a week ago. Dead batteries in the remote.

The central vac works and I reset the fireplace breaker. Still nothing.

I’ll flip all the 15 AMP breakers when the family is out tomorrow.

Remote works on other Tv’s so it is not the remote.

Flipped the TV Breaker and the GFRC Breaker on and off and BINGO.

Thanks everyone for all the ideas and help. Just a great resource.

I had to replace my TV because of rain water leakage. I guess they were serious when they said these areas weren’t water proof.....

The GFCI is tripped it is usually in the kitchen or bathroom they wire them in series with the rest of the plugs on the circuit so it protects the whole circuit.

Check for water damage under your sink and the floor by the stairs. Ours leaked in the same place and ruined the floor. I took out the tv and totally sealed that area with squirt foam and silicon and put new rubber on the frame. Replaced the tv. No more leaks.

Turn the inverted on and see if it comes on. They run off the inverted or Whore power. Sometimes the transfer switch sticks. Looks like a large starter solonoid , mines is under the bed bugs it a gap with something plastic or wood and see.
