Anyone Installed Trim-Lok Rain Gutter on an ACE

Hi,

We have a 2018 ACE 29.3 and recently discovered there are no rain gutters.

There is a lot of black streaking beginning to show on the sides and we would like to the divert the runoff to a simple to install gutter and downspout to keep water off the walls of the RV as much as possible.

I have decided on using the Trim-Lok gutter system. My question is where to locate the rain gutter on the ACE? There is a piece of trim slightly below the roof line. I can't decide where the best place to install the rain gutter - 1) above the trim or 2) below the trim.

If anybody has any experience with this please let me know. I would be interested in hearing your experience. Photos would be helpful.

Thank you for any information.

On my 2016 Siesta, the air Cond. runoff ended up over the entry door. I used the drip rail (EZE RV Gutter) to channel the water to aft of the awning. It's adhesive works well, it has been n place for over 2 years. I found matching paint. I used a gutter extension at the end.

On ours the AC runoff also wound up draining down over the entry, very annoying. Since we have added hydraulic levers, the run-off is on the left side toward the rear, much better. I may at some point add gutters, but right now its not much of a problem.

I used the Trim-Lok on the passenger side of my ACE with these spouts:

I installed the gutter just below the trim for the edge of the roof. It looks like that edge trim has a slot for the right king of gutter to slide in to, but I didn't see that until after I had purchased the Trim-Lok.
