Anyone recognize this connector?

Having crank problems on 2011 Serrano, W22 chassis with MaxxForce 7 diesel (FRED) and found this open connector hanging loose in the vicinity of the water pump. Anyone recognize this? It has two purple wire on each connector.

More info

When I go to crank engine if I pause in run position for any length of time then when I go to crank the starter will not engage. If I go straight to crank without hesitating then the starter will engage and crank. Going into Navistar dealer for checkout today, will post results.
