Toilet Flush pedal sticking open

I have a 2018 Miramar 35.3 and I just had a new flush lever installed and it is sticking open. Has anyone had this problem and how do you fix / adjust it.
Thanks

Over the last 20+ years I've owned 5 different RVs with foot operated ball valves; none of them had a "sticking" problem. I suspect the new valve installation has a problem - something is not right.

Maybe it just needs some exercise to get loosened-up and ready for battle.
You could always take it out, and put some lithium grease in the areas that move...

Some of them have a coil spring on the level. Check to see if it came loose or is broken. Empty your bowl. Pour some vegetable oil in the bowl and let it sit. That will coat the ball valve. Also as stated before don't baby the level.
