Atwood Water Heater problems

I have a 2013 Atwood GC6AA10-E 6 gal water heater. It is electric/propane. Last week the heating element went and when I switched to propane my wife smelled something burning. When I opened the door on the outside the flames were orange and were backing up the flow tube melting some wires. At no point do I get a nice blue flame. At first I thought the regulator/solenoids went bad, replaced it and the same thing is happening. Thought I was getting low propane pressure from the onboard tank, connected a independent supply same thing. It seems like there isn't enough pressure. Does this sound familiar to anybody? Electric side is working fine after replacing the heating element (which by the way was my fault bumped the switch on the panel when the tank was empty. Forgot to shut off the breaker)

Problem solved

Even though I used a compressor to blow out the burner tube, there was small spider web in the bend of the tube that was causing the problem Used a wire brush and problem solved.

Spiders and mud daubers will get you all the time. Keep an eye on your furnace and generator exhaust tubes as well.
