Can anyone tell me what this is?

Picked up the 2020 29m last week. Surprisingly happy with it at the delivery inspection and (so far) on the shakedown trip .... but I can’t figure it out what the object dangling from the front corner of the overhead bunk is. See pics below. This ones got me stumped.

Are you talking about the wiring: or the fan?

If you're talking about the wire, we will need a close up picture of the business end of the cable.

The dangling wire. I’m not near the RV now but I’ll post a better picture in a couple of hours.

Exclamation

See post # 7 in the following thread: https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f4...hade-8143.html

There's a push button on the end of that wire; it sets the limits of travel of your windshield shade. Check your owner's manual for how to use it.

Once you blow the picture up: the button becomes more noticeable.

We set(sat?) ours where it drapes a bit onto the dash board.

It always came down and went up .... but unfortunately it did that when the ignition key was engaged too. As we drove west away from the dealership, into the sun, I learned that the hard way! Was expecting that shade to stop at “sun visor” position and had a little drive away stress when it just kept coming.

Congrats on the 2020 29m. I have one too. Let me know if you have other questions.
