Help with 12v to my dash cigarette lighter

To my horror I discovered I have no wires to my cigarette lighter on the dash of my 2016 Vegas 24.1. The USB connecters work fine as I have always used them, however my new GPS needs the cigarette light to make it work.

There a a ton of wires under there. What color wires will get me the needed 12v to the lighter?

Positive 12v and of course ground.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well I’d expect them to be in the neighborhood with connectors already on them. Can’t help with the colors. It’s not a big deal though. If you can’t find them just run a fused positive either from the chassis battery or a switched terminal on the coach fuse box depending g on your preference. Ground to chassis anywhere convenient.

Thanks for the input, you have given me much to think about tonite. If I was home I'd have all the needed wires and connectors I just hope the local hardware store has what I need.

Tap off the +12 VDC going to the USB chargers.

My rig has a very nice shielded USB cable running up to the USB port, so that's out of the question. No, I think running a 5 amp fused wire directly from the battery is the way to go.

I typically connect optional power at the nearest fuse center

Most likely an empty slot or two
