auto leveler issues

Another day another new problem. Hit the auto level. Jacks deployed. After a minute attempting to level it read "Unable to level" . We are on a flat concrete driveway in an RV park. Fluid levels are good. Any ideas?

Read the manual - reset the zero level point. In the meantime, manually level it - you may find you like that better anyway.

Forget the auto feature and manually level. We always do front or rear first, then one side...whichever is low. Best practice for us is to just walk around and feel the level with your feet and body. If it already feels level when you pull into site, deploy them in pairs manually until they touch the ground with a little pressure and stability. If you prefer the auto feature, just reset the system as suggested.

Learn to manual level. It's easy and in the long run you'll be much happier. Auto level has too many quirks and is unreliable.

You didn’t say what leveler you have but I had to replace the Lippert pump in my 2018 Thor Windsport 29m. It was never right from the time we got it! You may want to have the psi on each of the 4 valves that supply fluid to the jacks checked. They should hold 2500 psi for 24 hours. Also you may have an issue with the control panel but that is rare. Call Lippert, they are great and know how to help you get answers in the field rather than pay $165 an hour to Camping world!! Good Luck!!!!!!’n

I realize you probably found your answer since you have not been back since your first post. But from my point of view, auto level is the way to go. Set your baseline level, then when you get to your destination it is as simple as pie. For those that say auto level takes longer, that is just not true. Nor is it true that it makes too many jerky motions. In my Hurricane, using auto level the jacks ground and lift and within 5 or 10 seconds it is level with a slight tilt to the rear and street side, for the A/C drains. No herky jerky as described in some threads. I turn on the system, push one button and get on with my life.

What's true for you and your coach is not necessarily true for others and their coaches as evidenced by the many threads/posts preferring manual over auto leveling. One of my first threads here on this forum was asking about the roller coaster ride when auto leveling. I am definitely in the camp of manual leveling with my RV, it's OK that you're in the camp of auto leveling with your RV.

Agree wholeheartedly. The ultra level in the omni was borderline violent. If you were standing inside you better hold on to something. Plus even after resetting the null it would overshoot and lift tires off the ground. Untralevel a very poor system. The EQ system in the Valencia isn't rough but still overshoots level. Thus I use manual which works great.

Me, personally, am part of the manual setting for leveling the RV.

My 2 cents.

Have a nice day.
