Automatic Generator Start

I have a 2021 Thor 2021 Four Winds 31W.
The Automatic Generator Start is not working, just noticed when I was trying to test the unit. No LED light (s) green or red.

The switch has an Enabled, Off, and Test positions all appear inoperable.

Any help is appreciated. Click image for larger version

We have the same set up, and I find it very valuable when we are Boondocking at a rest area or a truckstop. On our unit the master controls are in the rear drivers compartment, screwed up on the top area. I have it set to go on at 11.9 V. to run for two hours. The rest of the features like temperature setting, quiet time and the other features I don’t use, just the voltage and run time settings. The unit will go on when the coach battery voltage drops to the area of 11.9 V. As far as testing the unit, it’s a little tricky if you’re not familiar with it as I learned. To test the unit you press the rocker switch down to test for maybe 3 seconds, until the green light goes on then you wait about 30 seconds and it will turn over the generator and start, running for about 45 seconds. The green light will blink for a couple of seconds when first running, then turn to a steady green. When you actually want to use your automatic generator start up, you must leave the rocker switch in the enable position. Remember to turn off the switch when you are on your way and don’t require the automatic generator anymore, or it will just go on in storage or wherever you dock.

It may be different from where mine is located, but you could see it in the owners manual. It’s probably in or around where the generator is located.

Just look around in your compartments on the side or on the top.

Transfer switch is in the immediate area where the main plug to the camper is.

I doubt it’s the transfer switch if you are getting electric from the street.

I am looking in my notes, and I contacted these folks in the past, Magnum energy and spoke with a technician named Scott who is a genius on this stuff. The telephone number there is 425–353–8833. On my troubleshooting guide with the symptoms you were giving me it says check fuse, or check DC wiring.
It’s a brand new camper, so it’s got to be something minor that possibly was not hooked up or overlooked. Good luck

Found wiring diagram for AGS controller and remote start switch. Traced found in line fuse to battery 5 amp fuse burned out, replaced did generator test with remote switch worked.

5 amp in line fuse the culprit.

Excellent thread.
My ags hasn't come on ever, due to lack of system need (I hope).
I'll check it this week. Thanks for the reminder.
