Should the status light be always be on, or just when in the run mode?

Try the reset button on the bottom of the unit.

No reset button, only switch with Enable/Off/Test

Will the AGS start in the Off position?
I have kept mine in the Enabled position.

It will only start with enable or if you push the test button.

Did Test button started, now on Enabled if required.
So far cannot find Operating Manual for this unit. AAGS-SK

At least it works. Where are you getting that model number from? Can you upload a photo of the controller and the remote panel?

Ok,, that’s what we have. When I put it on enable there is no light that illuminates until the system calls for the generator to start, then there is a constant green light until the generator stops. The test mode just runs for about 45 seconds.
