Can you post a picture showing where they are touching?

I have a '20 Magnitude SV34. There are adjustments to tilt from one side to the other. They are the only adjustments that I am aware of for the awning.

It looks like in manufacturer photos there is at least 6 inches between the slide and awning

Is the slide crooked when it's out?

How much room is there between the slide and awning when they are closed? My last motorhome they put my compartment in the wrong place by one inch when they built it and I couldn't open the compartment with the window open

Sounds like an improperly located and installed awning. Take it in for warranty repair.

Adjustments at the arms for tilt should not cause the awning to hit a slide unless you are more than 3 clicks different from front to back.

Sorry everyone had to leave town for work

the awning when it retracts the fabric doesn't roll up even it starts ok then it moves toward the hardware so i think its pulls it towards the slide

is there anyway to adjust the fabric

If it's a Latitude there are 2 adjustment screws on each arm, besure to lift the arm as you adjust
Adjust the arm that is causing the problem, might solve the fabric problem

The fabric can be adjusted.
Extend the awning about half way
Tie the arms to each other at their mid point knuckle.
Extend the awning till the fabric is loose
There should be a small screw securing each corner, remove and move 1 corner a little
Test and readjust as needed... good luck
