Hurricane 29A door locks

on my recently purchased 2012 Hurricane 29A, didn't check it out till I drove home...when locking the entry door the key locked the door, but when inserted into the deadbolt keyhole..would not turn left or right.....so the question IS, was there a separate key just for the deadbolt , or, more than likely, the lock is malfunctioning and need a replacement....thanx...Jeff

Separate key for the deadbolt, at least for mine.

Supposedly the night latch key is universal (all keyed alike) and the deadbolt key is different from coach to coach. Or so I was told.

Separate keys are the standard...even with travel trailers. Although this is true I bet you could walk through a campground and open at least 25% of the campers there with your own keys and 90% of the compartments. nothing is reasonably safe with these locks and keys.
