Awning LED lights

My Hurricane awning has a strip of LED lights that are in a holder that is sewn into the awning. About 95% of the stitching that secures the holder has failed and the strip of lights is hanging down. Any ideas? The holder is curved and I don't know if double sided tape with work well. I thought about adel clamps placed every 2 feet or so, but that might look clunky. Thoughts or suggestions please.

Stitch rip the other 5% and trash the lights.

I'm not understanding the location of this LED strip.
Is it out on the extended end of the awning (after deployment); or is it up against the side of the RV?
If it's the former: you might be able to re-attach the strip up tight to your rig with some good double-sided adhesive strips.
(You just need to fish the wiring for it out of the awning's guts... )
Good luck!

That's what I decided. Took down the holder and upon closer inspection the LED strip is clipped into the plastic of the holder. Took it out and using 3M double tape, put it back up. This time it is attached to the body of the coach and not sewn into the awning material. It is also straight this time, with no waves. Thanks.

For what it's worth, the double sided tape on the original LED light strip did not hold in the Texas summer heat. Ordered a replacement from recpro that came with a new track and LED strip. It was a very easy to install and hopefully this one will last longer than the factory installed one did.
