Howdy,
For those of you who don't believe that there are MH with the damn Awning Lights Sewn to the Awning, here is some proof.
For those of you with this problem, here is an awesome fix
First Six pics are of Thors Crap. The threads just rot in the sun and your lights end up hanging. I let this go for way too many months while trying to figure out a fix. Luckily they hang inside the arms of the Awning when closed. That last strip of attachment came off with a slide of my finger.
I Found the perfect fix.

I am in no way connected to this company.
The last four pics are of the new track and lighting. It comes with track that 3M sticks to your rig (I live in SoNev, right next to the sun. We will see how well the 3M holds. So far so good)
You can cut the tracking to your desired length. I ordered the 17, they sent the 19. The light strip cuts to your size as well (instructions show where to cut)
I removed the plug from the old strip and attached to the wires of the new strip.
Fan Freaking Tastick and easy fix.
