coax cable small nuts
My fingers are getting arthritis and I am struggling to get the little nuts on my coax cable hookup to turn when setting up and taking down. Does anyone make a coax cable with a bigger nut on the end? Right now, if I can get it started, I use a small crescent wrench to tighten and loosen. Just wondering if any of you crackerjack RVR’s have come across something better?

That's what I was thinking. The slide on kind would be easier to use. Matter of fact, I just ordered a couple for my rig.

Since my old friend Arthur Itis is a frequent visitor, and since I've got 3 different length cables, I bought a whole bag of them. I also keep a few 90° fittings and couplers in the tool box.

That's what I just did from Amazon. A bag of 10 for 6 bucks is worth it to me.

Push-on connectors are great but you still have to screw the cable to the connector.
What you are looking for is this:

Sold in single or multipacks.

Retired RF engineer. I am used to torque all RF connectors on. I did not use F type connectors much do to their low frequency. SMA was standard in 50 Ohm systems. That being said, just snug them up and then a tenth of a turn should do. I too now have been getting them from Amazon. I carry ten to twenty of them. A few parks think it is great to mount their side in wood that is almost impossible to connect to. I offer then and hand them out to other people setting up.
