Awning and Slide out - Do they operate on battery or 110v?

A quick question to all the pros here.
Do the awning and slide out operate on a house battery or they require shore power?

My Thor Freedom Elite 2017 doesn't seem to work on battery.

Thanks in advanced.
Ton.

Yes they are all house battery powered. The key must be out of the ignition and the master power -on (use/store relay in use) to operate the accessories. Both are fused in the 12 volt section of the power center, so power has to get there from somewhere.

The above answer is correct in terms or 12V

All coaches require the engine be off to operate the awning. However, some coaches require the engine to be running for the slide to operate.

Coaches with large, heavy slides typically have a BIM and require the engine to be running so the alternator can boost the house batteries to properly operate the slide.

My Outlaw 29H did not require the engine to be running to operate the slide as it was relatively small but my Magnitude SV34 does require the engine to be running for my full wall slide.

Sounds to me your house batteries don’t have enough voltage and it is taking the 110V so your Converter / Charger can boost the house batteries to get your slide to operate.

Thank you for all the replies. I think the key was the problem, the vehicle engine was running.
