Awning Tearing and Misc Questions...New Four Winds Owner

Good Afternoon,

I purchased a 2005 Four Winds Chateau Sport class C a week ago. It's in nice shape but had a few issues one of which I created today a bit. I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction:

1. I was trying to figure out how the manual awning goes in and out and when I was putting it in one side kind of dropped and started ripping a bit....Is this repairable. I think if had some really tough tape it jut might be fine.

2. The blind on the main front window is not working at all. What's the best way to replace this? I'm not sure it's repairable.

3. There are little sky light covers a couple place. In the back bedroom the one has a little plastic bracket that is broke. Where do you find parts like this?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Amazon. Search the covers. You’ll replace the entire cover. Then search for awning repair tape. Just know that you’re going to need new awning fabric shortly.

Yes. The entire vent cover. I’ve never had experience with the front blind.

Go here, follow their directions for what you need and how to do it.

We replaced ours and bought it from them. Very reasonable and not very difficult of a job, but you do need a helping hand (2 people).

Watch a couple of YouTube videos on RV shades, especially the brand you have. I recently had a broken spring. You can purchase that separately and save some money. I called the company that makes ours and they were great. Sent the replacement spring for free, ten minute fix.
