Last year the dash A/C in our 2017 Axis 25.5, built on a 2016 Ford E450 chassis, was alternately cooling, the switching to warm air, then, after maybe 20 min., cooling again. Trying to determine whether problem was Ford's or Thor's, I called Thor Customer Care. After some checking, the Customer Care rep advised me that the dash A/C system is about 80% Thor's and 20% Ford's. The parts covered by Ford are essentially the compressor, the evaporator coil and the tubing connecting those components. Everything to do with the fan, temp controls, air circulating systems and dash switches are Thor's. As it turned out, my problem was a defective 'actuator', which controls the vacuum operated doors that send either cooled or warmed air to the dash vents. My bad actuator was replaced under warranty by La Mesa RV in Sanford, FL. Just a couple days ago, I found our dash A/C was not cooling again, so back to La Mesa it goes.
