Axis/Vegas rear wiring harness - mess

Does this look like the standard wiring harness setup under the rear of a 24.1 Vegas?
Looks like it puts some strain on some of the cables.

Yeah that looks about par for the course. On our Axis the wiring to the 7-pin hitch plug was all messed up. May want to check that if you plan to tow.

Wiring mess

We tow and our 7-pin connector works. So far so good I guess. I think I'm going to try and support the "bundle" to take the strain off the cables.

You may want to check all the wiring, cables etc. underside also and use some wire ties where needed. I used a pkg. of 100 blk 12" ones under the hood, front wheel wells and underside. I may have gone overboard with them, but floppy wires sooner or later cause problems.

We saw a 2015 Vegas in a dealer showroom last January that had a lot of loose wiring underneath. When we picked our 2016 up in June, that was the first thing I checked. No loose wiring. Either Thor addressed the problem, or the dealer did. I always have zip ties of varying lengths in with my tools.

Could be that Thor is monitoring the forums and picking up some QC tips.
