Axis Water leaking under bed
Axis 2014 24.1. One of this trips nasty surprises is water leaking out from under the bed. Looking now at tank and pump, could just be fittings and handy husband will evaluate and isolate all the obvious. Just wondering if anyone else had any major issues other than with fittings.

Had the same thing happen to me about two years ago. Turns out that the pump was bad and leaked water when you first energized the system. I bought a new pump and installed it. Reading the installation instructions, it told you not to connect the pump directly to the plastic pipe, but to run a short hose connection from the pump to the pipe. Hooking it directly can lead to excessive vibration and damage the pump. Thor had connected the pump directly to the pipe, destroying the pump.

It happened to me on a trip through Texas. Fortunately I was within ten minutes of an RV repair place in Kerrville, TX and they topok care of installing a new one.

Yeah if it is the passenger side bed pop the top and inspect all the water apparatus there. I had a similar leak but it was simply the strainer was loose.

Axis water leaking under bed
We had the same problem. Turned out to be the pump. Thor replaced it for free. They sent me the pump and i installed it. No problems since.

Axis water leaking under bed
Thor asked that I send the old pump back to them. The pump Thor gave me was an improved model. It was an easy install. I had to cut and reconnect the power. I made my own diagram so that I would remember which wire went where. The new pump's wire was color coded to match the one I took out. Thank goodness for industry standards. I was worried that a new pump would have used any wire available.

Has anyone experienced a leak under the bed that doesn't have the water apparatus? Assuming we need to get into the bathroom pipes but wanted to ask if anyone has a direction to point us in to start.

You can still pop the passenger side bed and follow the pipes around. Its pretty open back there once you remove the panel.

This is the stock item in a Vegas/Axis:
It’s a Shurflo 4008-101-A65
I had to rebuild this one with a new diaphragm
Works fine now as a back-up
The fuse is in the converter box (as far as I know).
Mine is a 15amp
