Axis windshield cost.

Cleaning the windshield this morning; I found another chip. That's three now. None of them are thru to the lamination, but I'm thinking that the windshield's days are numbered. I am just curious about what a windshield in a Axis costs.
The cheapest deductible for glass I could get was $250.00

Well... Not sure the total, but clearly over $250...

One more in the 'plus' column for FL... They have to offer $0 deductible glass.
In MI, I had to carry $0 deductible comprehensive to get the glass to $0.

Your insurance company should be able to send someone out to fix them. I had a chip and they fixed it right up !

We had to have our windshield replaced last summer due to road debris punching a hole in it...thank goodness near the lower seal...we were in Tampa, headed home...were able to drive home....
Longer story short....we went through our Ins. and our deductible is $800...that is what we paid out of pocket..
Binswanger Glass, a national glass company...told us that windshield is about $3500 .... they also included, in their install...several chip repairs ...
With that said...you should contact your local glass repair to see if they can/will do the chip repair for you.
