Big windshield 50 degrees & heat

50 degrees used cold defrost it helped then wife got cold turned on heat and steam from vents?
When 1st driving and 50 degrees what keeps front and side windows clear?

Mine defrost or keep the condensation off in colder weather which is when we travel most.

Be sure to check inside vs outside humidity and if outside is significantly lower do not use recirculate, use outside air

I tend to start the engine, let it warm up about 10 minutes, get things all set, make final checks and off with never a condensation issue

You need to have the A/C running for defrost to work. It should automatically turn on the compressor when you have the selector to defrost but maybe not.

Warm air can hold more moisture - it will condense on the cold windshield causing fog up.

First thing is clean the windshield. Dirt, smoke film, cooking fumes film, will attract more moisture/fogging than a clean one. The follow the other advice.
