Basement door latches

2015 outlaw 38RE
Anyone having issues with latches malfunctioning? I have had several that I have had to remove and tighten an internal screw. I now have a door I can't open because of this issue.

I haven't had that kind of issue but I did have one that I forgot to lock that popped open when driving down the road. Luckily the wind force kept the compartment door closed until I stopped moving.

I've had one pop open while going down the road as well. Afterwards I checked and just about all of the catches needed to be adjusted. Once I did that I haven't had any further problems.

Each catch on my Challenger is attached with two screws. The screws can be loosened so the catch can slide closer to the latch, then the screws tightened. In my case all of the catches were not close enough to the latch. So when the doors were closed you could pretty much yank on the handle and the door would pop open.
