Batter Issue
Three years ago leaving on a trip MH started fine. After 3 hours driving, stopped for gas. MH would not start had to use emergency start. I replacrd battery with Superstart platinum AGM in 8/18. Last week left for Colorado. After driving about 3 hours (190mi) stopped for gas. Same problem again, had to use emergency start switch. Stopped one more time, no problem. Went to leave 7 days later, had to use emergency again but stopped twice on way home, no problems, Started it up twice today no problem. BATTERY NEED REPLACING? THOUGHTS?
Thanks

Take the starting battery to a FLAPS and have them load test it. Battery age is not an entering argument; as to, why the engine wouldn't crank. If the battery test good; then have them check the alternator under load.

If the battery starts it normally even sometimes it would be hard for me to conclude that it is at fault. But it’s easy to check with a load tester. Many parts stores will test for free if you don’t have one. Much more likely is a connection, relay or wiring problem. Have you cleaned all of the battery and ground connections lately? Since the emergency start switch works I’m thinking it’s just dirty or loose connections at the chassis battery.

I'm with Pete'sMH on this one. Even if they look good the connections may not allow proper current flow, either to charge or start. Clean them even if they "look good".

Connections clean with absolutely no corrosion and tight. Emergency start works but also a little slow.

3 years is a long time for a battery to last in Arizona. Probably time for a new one. I can only get them to last for 2 1/2 years in our heat! Definitely get it load tested.
