RV Thor/Vegas 2017 with Chassis Control Modular & Electrical re-programing needed

Our Thor/Vegas 2017 with 12,000 miles has been in a local Ford dealership with re-programming issues. It has been there for months! The RV had no get up and go and we were told the chassis control modular needed to be replaced. As it turns out that one is faulty and another needs to be installed. Then the modular needs to be re-programmed. Has anyone else had any issues simular to this? They were asked months ago if they couldn't handle the repairs let us know right away so we get it towed to someone who can work on Ford RV's. Now the Chassis battery had to be replaced because it set for so long and nothing being done on it.

Chassis Control Module - What is a chassis control module?
It receives inputs from various sensors in your suspension, steering, and brakes. The module then sends control signals to the ABS or other systems to help keep your car stable and safe in all conditions.
Not sure what a CCM would have to do with "RV had no get up and go" unless it was applying the brakes at all times. In any case, it sounds like the service center you have it at is incompetent. I assume you are out of warranty and this is all on your dime?

Reprogramming is such a broad spectrum from as simple as attaching your chassis VIN to a component to release the anti-theft lock all the way up to a full engine tune. But in reality, none of it is starting from scratch - it's just a matter of having the equipment and file to upload to the device's firmware.

I think I'd get Ford on the horn and see if they can't get to the bottom of your issue or recommend a different place to take it.

RV Thor/Vegas 2017 w/electrical re-programming needed

I agree with you this Ford garage has an incompetent issue. We did call the Ford company a few months ago and was told that there was a Ford garage in Lebanon NH that is familiar with Ford RV's. I called the manager at our garage here in VT and told him I wanted him to call them and provided a phone number which he said it wasn't needed that they have been discussing the problems they were having re-programming and they didn't feel they needed to call the NH Ford. We are out of warranty and unfortunately we will be responsible for all the work/labor, etc. My husband and I had been going up to the garage frequently starting it to keep the chassis battery working but while we had to go to FL for my ill mother for 3 months they never ran the engine letting the battery die. I told them at this point they were going to owe me money letting it sit there for months and not having it on their work schedule. He didn't find that funny and ignored my sarcastic remark.

Are we to presume that the dealer has removed the air filter to ensure there are no restrictions in the housing and filter? Mice / rats love making nests in out of the way places - particularly when cold weather comes.
