Bedroom light stays on

We just purchased a new 2022 thor freedom elite 22 ft class c with one slide out at bedroom. The bedroom over head light stays on when on shore power. We have looked everywhere for a switch. It goes off when we disconnect power. The switch by thermostat controls the other light but this one stays on. The other light switches do not control it, main one at door, bathroom switch, kitchen switch. All have been tried. Any idea what to do?

Help the forum folks help you by changing your status from "Still looking" and let us know what model and year you have.

You would benefit from accessing the schematics for your coach from Thor. The electric schematic should show you where the switch is.

Like Oldweb said, have you called the dealer? You might have a warranty issue. My guess is there is a switch you haven't found.

Simplify your problem statement, maybe a picture?

If you are talking about a light in the bedroom, no need to confuse with any other switches.

Are you talking about a light that is over your head when sleeping, or a light that is on the ceiling?

I don't know your coach, but a educated guess is that your light fixture may be combined to be switch and light. We have two like that in our drop down bed area. There are no switches but if you are laying down you can simply push the round fixture in and presto the light goes off or on.

Like dk says... we also have 2 small overhead bedroom "reading" puck lights mounted on the underside of the cabinets above the headboard. The switch for them is a tiny silver button on the center of each light.

There are a couple ceiling bedroom lights controlled by a wall switch, but these two lights are controlled individually by their own center button switch.

You need to put you USE/STORE switch in USE unless storing the RV without SP connected. Lights going out when you disconnect SP is not a normal camping situation.

Otherwise, I've seen this movie before. It ends when the light switch is found.
