Somehow my sliding door to the bedroom in my Windsport (same as Hurricane) 34J had become slightly fubar. The second part of the door (the one without the handle) was no longer moving when the first part of the door was moved. I looked around and couldn't find a good site with pictures on how to remove the doors so I could see what was going on, so I took some of my own.
Basically the doors hang from special bolts, and can be removed by sliding a latch on the top of the door that the bolt slides into. I could not see this well enough before I spent 20 minutes unscrewing the bolt and then figured it out. See below:
This allowed me to work on the doors. The actual issue was a small steel plate that is screwed into the second door and rides in a track cut into the bottom of the primary door had come loose. Tiny screws into (what isn't really wood), just don't cut it sometimes when bumping down the road.
(This picture was taken from underneath before I pulled the door).
Upgraded the screws to something with a bit more bite (coarser and deeper screws) and used 5 instead of 3, and now all is well.
Here is another view of the latch, closed and installed.
The doors slide off the latch in the direction of the drivers side of the RV once the latch is opened.
Hope this helps someone else.
