Outdoor sink drain on '18 Windsport 29M

I guess I used the outside sink just enough to fill the drain pipe and now I have a sink full of water that won't drain. I pulled the little tilt out drawer and low and behold there is a waste water pump hooked up to the drain. So I'm checking for switches, and I wiggled all the fuses, and it does not turn on. I don't see any kind of sensor in the drain pipe and the two wires come right out of the motor and disappear into the wall. Does anyone have any idea what turns this motor on? Manual switch? Water sensor?

Look under the upper cabinet...there is a switch that will activate the pump

Beside the macerator are the pull rings for the low point drains.

Agreed. Lots of systems to learn. Just take it in sections, and familiarize yourself with things. It does get better!!

If only they gave you a current owners manual. Every RV I've ever owned has been trial and error. Mostly error! My Keystone 5th wheel was the worst!

How are the "pull rings" to be used for draining the coach when winterizing?

The coach must be somewhat tail down for it to work really well. A degree or two is all you need. Open every faucet in the coach, the outside shower and open the pressure vent valve on the water heater after you pull both rings and the valves open. If you haven't done it before, it takes quite a tug to pop them open. Make sure the fresh water tanks is drained then blow air (not more than 20 psi) into the city water inlet. It takes about 5 psi to overcome thew one-way valve. Finally, make sure you run the coach's water pump until only air comes out. Suck RV antifreeze in to the water pump and pour a considerable amount down all sink drains (3), the shower drain. I pour some into the toilet bowl and let it stand during the winter. I use a couple gallons but that is probably overkill. If you plan on sucking more than about a quart into the water pump be sure you open the heater bypass, or you will have pink, foamy water for quite a while. I Clorox the water tank and system in the spring and that flushes out the entire system. And Yes, I still do it even though I moved way south (San Antonio, TX).
