Best tires for a Thor Compass 23TW?

I find Tire Rack recommendations for a Ford Transit Van 350 but they don’t know there is a heavy camper on top. What does anyone recommend? Thanks!

The best tire you can afford with the necessary speed and weight ratings and your anticipated driving conditions.

Do your research because all you will get from others is their personal opinions or preference which may be terrible for your situation.

But they do know the tires have to be good for the GVWR of the chassis. Look at the size and weight ratings of your old tires and match it.

Not knowing if your 350 has same tires as ours, I recommend you read about Euro Metric Commercial tires. Examples are Michelin Agilis Cross Climate and Kumho Crugen HT51.

If your coach can fit these you will have a tire designed to carry more weigh than the LT E rated tire of the same size. Problem is they are limited to just a few sizes.

^^Best Advice^^ If you were happy with what came on it, buy the same. The OEM tires were matched to the vehicle and weight ratings, not the end product. If not happy with what came on it...shop for happy but stay with same size and ratings. More plys add stability but will ride a tad harder also.

This subject is similar to..."what grill cooks the best steaks?".

A 350 is a 1 ton chassis regardless of what's on it! It can't or shouldn't be more weight than a 1 ton is rated for.
I'd say any brand you like or are willing to spend the $$ for in an LT E rated tire or equivalent to what's on it now should be good. There are commercial rated tires that should be available in your size if that's what you might want, but you probably wouldn't like the stiffer ride.
As far as brand I personally like Michelins. Had a 1 ton dually truck towing 16.5k lb 5th wheel, more gross weight than you, & got 70k miles each out of 2 sets of Michelin tires. They're pricey, but from from my experience they outlasted 2 to 3 sets of other tire brands so in the long run were cheaper.
