I found a product on Amazon called Marine 31. Works great for mold. Spray it on, wait 5 minutes, then hose it off. I’ve used it on my white awning and also seats on my pontoon. Amazing stuff. So easy to use. No scrubbing.

Prevent mold on any surface

I have been using a product I bought at Costco called "Wet and Forget". After cleaning the underside of my awning with the wet and forget, I sprayed on another coat and let dry. No new mold.

Cleaning still required scrubbing the first time.

We just let ours bake out here in the 93 degree weather today. While we were working on that chore: we celebrated the heat with a couple of Barley-Pops!
...And not a bit of mold grew in that warm Sunlight!

I not a fan of Magic Eraser type products. They are basically a super super fine Sanding Block. And Will take the finish off your Coach and items you use it on. That's why they work so well.

You can buy mold and mildew remover almost anywhere. I usually get it in a pump bottle at Walmart or Lowe's. Spray it on the awning and let it dry and most mold and mildew will disappear. As with most all of these products it's the bleach or chlorine that does the work. Regardless of what I use I finish with a quick washing using liquid dish soap applied with a washing brush on a handle. I just have an idea that if left on the dried bleach can't be too healthy for the awning material. Probably no problem but that's just me. After the awning is thoroughly dry I apply a coating of Aerospace 303 to protect against uv's. I use a small towel wrapped around the brush on a pole to apply the Aerospace 303. No ladder required. And as what others have said, it's very important to keep the awning open and dry whenever possible.

Just got back from family reunion in Colorado and a wedding in Georgia the last week. My brother in law has several boats and uses MOLD CONTROL by concrobrum to keep mold off the awnings of his "fleet". I will be searching for some to try on the awning. Anyone ever use the stuff?

I've used Concorbium on my patio mat and the satchel I carry it in -- so far so good. Soon I will be trying it on my awning.

yes, I posted a link to concrobium earlier in this thread. I have only just recently used it though so can't confirm how well it works yet... you can get the stuff at places like home depot and ace hardware. Probably almost anywhere

Saturday: it got up to 93 here...
Sunday saw 96!
Today: we smacked up against 98!

I'm just letting my awning bake in the sunshine right now...
