I have too many relatives in Farmington.
Great Indian ruins outside of,Cortez or,blommfield I don't remember which.
Go to Canyon de Chelle on your way from PAGE.

Did you do
Antelope Canyon while in Page?

Yes we did. Boat tour as well. We’re staying at the newer Antelope Point RV park by the Marina. Will check out Canyon de Chelle. Is it drivable? With 29’ towing? Will only be in Cortez one night as we are doing Monument Valley drive thru

It's a look at and done. Hellatous hill over lukachukai to Shiprock then Farmington then Cortez, or up to 4corners then Cortez.
You don't drive into De chelle. You park and peer over.

I'm holding off on other options such as Sumo Springs or Rear sway bar until I see what this change does. Total cost for the parts is under $500 on Amazon. I also had to replace the original tires, which only had 27k miles on them and were cracking. The tires were made in 2014 and 2015 for my 2016 model. I put C-Metric Goodyear Workhorse commercial tires on so we will see how they work out...the ride seems okay now. I don't plan on replacing shocks unless nothing else works since it only has 27k miles on the rig.

We started with the Safe-T-Plus which did tighten up the steering. Had the rig aligned, too. Added Timbren SES which definitely makes a difference when cornering. We are now trying to alleviate fighting the crosswinds and truck wash. We thought we would start with the shocks to stiffen the ride and then add the hellwig sway bars front and rear. We have friends who upgraded their class C with stiffer shocks and the Hellwigs and they say it made a world of difference. Fingers crossed.

Update: So we bought Bilstein B6 Performance (not Comfort) shocks, front and rear, made specifically for the E-350 chassis and had them installed. They are marvelous. No more rolling in the curves. No side to side sway when driving down the road. Very pleased. Have yet to drive at highway speeds, but expect there will be an improvement there also.

Glad your stiff shocks made a difference. I would have gone the Ducks way and added air bags. The only thing else would be the largest anti roll bar. That would do the most to stop you from being pushed. Air from passing trucks push your box over causing it to turn with the lean of your RV. Drive it more to see if you need to do more. Sounds like you may not need to. I rely on shocks to keep the tires on the road and not have the suspension bottom out. I had to, but I have a diesel pusher. The suspension was like an uncontrolled water bed.

I slept in one of those in the 70's. That must have been horrible going down the road.

(First posting)-recently purchased a 2021 Thor Vegas 24.1. While driving back from Texas to California the highways were terrible and there was tremendous jarring to the motorhome. This actually caused the radio/screen to break loose. Additionally the front window area now has a constant loud screeching noise sounding like crickets on steroids. I would like to try to improve the ride over bumps so that the motorhome doesn't shake itself to death. In reading some of the threads some of the members have recommended the comfort ride (?), Bilstein shocks (B4 as opposed to B6?)-I would appreciate any input including part numbers for the most appropriate shocks.

24.1 Axis Improvements

I recently posted that I installed a Hellwig Swaybar and Bilstein steering damper in our 2016 Thor 24.1 Axis on the E450 frame. It has drastically improved the ride control. No more excessive sway on corners or from crosswind and the steering is tight. Cost was under $500 for both. Have taken two trips and am happy

Anyway, I realize I can't make the ride perfect but I want to make it so that the entire RV doesn't shake apart like it is doing. I've read in some of the member comments that replacing the stock shocks with Bilstein shocks will help. I can't seem to find the correct Bilstein shocks to improve the ride. I understand that there is a, "comfort" shock and a more heavy-duty one (B4, B5?). Anyway, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you have any part numbers for the recommended replacement shocks please let me know.
Thanks-
This is what shows up for your rig (‘19-‘21 E350)
Although if you go on Bilstein website you might find another option

To correct an issue, need to identify what part of handling needs correcting. I had a 2016 Vegas 24.1 on e450 chassis.

The 1st issue handling was a tendency to steer itself when hitting bump/pothole on 1st trips to track. Going was always there, coming home wife noticed better in dark. I had already ordered spring return Roadmaster. When installed, noticed oem required great deal of movement to actually damp. This cured issue. Now bump/pothole was felt but no affect on steering. Spring return simply an option to ease wife input should truck get blow out.

Next was tire pressure, to much in front killed any semblance of on center feel. Weighted and used tire load to select pressure. Cannot rule out tire losing crown may have helped.

Everyone sees different things when driving, mine was steady north of 80 with our without trailer. Easy drive. Did not run that fast often but enough to see any degradation of handling.

We put the Bilstein B6-Standard (or sometimes referred to as Performance) shocks on our 2022 Thor Axis 24.3 on a E-350 chassis (2021). The front shocks are 33-187570 (old part # F4-BE5-H341-H0) and the rear shocks are 33-176857 (old part # F4-BE5-H685-H0). This is what is recommended by Bilstein for the E-350 RV chassis.
