Black water in gray tank

Hi, does anyone else have a maserator toilet that dumps to the gray water tank?

Is this normal?

Thanks for any feedback.

Not likely, but many have grey water lines into the black tank...

Sound like there is no grey tank under those circumstances...

Yeah..... I don't think so. What's the definition of "gray" and "black" tanks? They are defined by what they contain. Human waste is always classified as "black' effluent regardless if it is macerated or not. So by definition, the rear toilet also feeds to a "black" tank.

Did you buy this coach used?

You may want to contact Thor and ask them for a waste water plumbing schematic and see if the situation is by design or screw up.

I'm guessing your tanks a mislabeled like mine is. I have Galley, Gray and Black but there are labeled as Gray, Black and Black. A sink will go to black but black will not go to gray.

The schematics for your coach should be on Thor Motor Coach site, owners resources. Enter your VIN and you should find them immediately.

Most if the 1/2 bath units that also have the macerator toilet in the full bath are configured with two black tanks

The tank the macerator, washing machine, shower all dump to is labeled grey however it is black

Not sure about all the models or years but many are that way
