Body Parts - Sourcing and Painting

My son was not paying attention (uh...he's 16 so that's pretty much a given) and managed to catch his sweatshirt on the corner fascia of our slide out. This cracked the plastic so I need to replace the part and either get it painted or find some color matched vinyl to make the repair.

First Question - I contacted Thor and they gave me a part #. Does anyone have a good online source to order parts? My local dealer is a joke. The part is 0277585|CAP, CORNER, EXTERIOR FASCIA, TPL0027-2, ASA S510, W/UV PROTECTION, ABS, CHAMPAGNE.

I did find this online but it's not the right color - https://guarantyrvparts.com/cap-corn...-16-abs-black/

Second Question - paint or vinyl? I got the body paint/decal chart from Thor but don't yet know if I should get the part painted or try and find some vinyl in the same color.

If the part is really 2 bucks buy a few and then you can experiment to get the paint just right.

Anyone in the RV business can order directly from Thor MC. I had an over $10,000 of body damage repair, from a side swipe, done by Iron Horse RV in San Antonio, TX. Iron Horse is about 20 miles from the local Camping World. Iron Horse had no trouble getting basement doors and beauty strips from Thor MC. I have partial body paint and Iron Horse matched the paint perfectly.

Take the broken corner piece to paint shop they should be able to color match and paint your replacement.
