Brake Noise 2013 Thor Windsport

Has anybody had a problem with the brakes squealing when they are wet. It sounds just like the wear strips but when I apply the brakes the noise continues. This only happens when it is raining and the noise is driving us nuts..... its a Ford 53 chassis.

Although I have not noticed the problem on the motorhome I do have that problem are my other 2 vehicles which are both Fords. The noise usually goes away after the rotors and pads dry.

Just moved to Staresville NC from St Petersburg Fl Ford Dealers wont touch my rig as far as brake replacement goes. Camping world a no go either. Does any body know where I can find someplace...anyplace very frustrating send help

I assume you mean Statesville, NC? Look for a truck repair place like Carolina Diesel Services LLC. But then, how many miles do you have on your MH that you think you need brakes?

I have 22 K miles and a toad seem very spongy yes Statesville NC as stated.

As stated, you need to go to a Ford commercial truck dealer or independent truck repair shop. The typical Ford dealer does not have space or expertise to work on any part of the F-53 chassis. Ford Commercial Dealers work on F-550 box trucks every day and that is where most of the components used on the Detroit Chassis built F-53 stripped chassis are derived. In your Ford owners manual, there is a 800 number that will direct you to the nearest Ford Commercial truck dealership.
