BU Camera and Radio in 2015 Vega 24.1 Dead

Last weekend I started getting the RV ready for annual DMV inspection. Battery was dead. Hooked up to house's dedicated 30 AMP circuit. Battery came back to life in less than 15 minutes.

While going thru the steps for inspection preparation I found neither radio nor backup camera would come on. All other items on the unit (Gen Start, Shade, etc.) work. I looked at the fuses in the driver's side storage compartment and those under the reefer. All fuses in those two areas are okay.

Have I missed something?

Reset on face of radio?

It takes more than 15 minutes to bring a dead battery back to life. If you are plugged in to SP the converter is powering the house loads. The battery will not be charging unless the USE/STORE latching relay is in the USE position. Unless it was left in that position when the batteries died, it won't switch to that position without the house batteries being charged separately, as they are the power source to move the latching relay.

I just had the same situation. Batteries had gone flat. Filled and charged them and now they power everything else, including power to the radio. But the radio is DOA. The reset button has no effect. (There is a second small hole that could easily be mistaken for the reset.) The CD function had crapped out before our last outing.

My solution? Time for a replacement radio. Hope to install the new Kenwood by next weekend.
