I discovered my freshwater tank was leaking from one of the sensors just after I took delivery of my Windsport 34J. THOR said it wasn't fixable and CW replaced the tank. Good luck on fixing yours.

How about a heavy does of silicone caulking around it?

My Coach is still under warranty so I will let LaMesa RV deal with it. But if it wasn't I would give the Silicone a try, since the sensor works.
I just hope that the dealer doesn't take weeks to fx.
Thanks

Thanks, I am wondering if there is hardware on the inside of the tank to which the screw threads into?
I am guessing that there isn't since the tank has no opening. Looks like they drill a hole and epoxy in a plastic threaded piece with a flange to which the screw with wire connector and grommet screws into. I am worried that the plastic threads might be stripped, and the grommet won't compress. Maybe RTV/Silicone would work in place of a compressed grommet? Any suggestions on what to use? See the picture in the link in the original post.
I dread the thought of having them replace the tank because of time, inexperience with the dealer, and them causing more damage (which equals time) in that process.
Thanks

try tightening the screw.
silicone is very unlikely to stick to the PE tank. It's a horrible sealant for most applications anyway.
A lot of these things are only simple things, kinda like a well nut. As you tighten it, it expands an elastomer/rubber thing to that wedges into the hole.
Your's might be different though, it might be just a simple screw threaded into the plastic. Either way, tightening ought to do the trick. If it is just a screw, maybe remove it and place a rubber washer under it.
Take a look at Horst miracle probes if this is a waste tank. I've read good things about them.

As you can see in the photo (which is side ways unfortunately) in the link in the first post, it looks like it is leaking from the center not from the spin welded flange. Here is a link to a picture of the spin weld sensor that is used:
https://www.rvupgradestore.com/RV-Ho...-p/10-1697.htm
It doesn't need a grommet because the screw doesn't protrude into the tank. In other words, even with the screw removed it should not leak. Am I right?
I think the spin weld sensor is leaking between the metal probe sensor and the plastic weld flange? I think when I try to tighten or loosen the the screw the metal probe sensor is twisting as well?
Do you think LeakSeal flexible rubber coating would stop the leak if I sprayed it on the screw and probe in the middle of the spin weld sensor? , has anybody ever used it?
Thanks

I used flex seal to seal up the rear taillight cavity.
Works really well and dries/cures to a pretty hard rubbery surface. I bet a quick spray over the probe would seal that right up (I think I'd try tightening the screw first).

I can't believe that I might have found a potentially useful solution!

If you back the screw out you could put a-little teflon tape on the screw that should seal it up.

they make plastic melting tips for soldering irons, that would work better than sealer.it looks like it leaking at the copper post that goes thru the plastic. sealing from the outside doesn't work as good as from the inside but unless you have a large access on top you are out of luck.you could seal the whole thing and just put in another sensor. it looks like the sensor is less than a dollar but the tool to put it in is $127.00.
