I'm going to have to take my Omni XG32 apart and fix it also. I have the same issue as Judge, but Thor warranty is telling me to pound sand they are not going to cover it.

Chateau Nomad, found the steel cross bars on the four winds.
Here are some more pics:
1st one’s are the steel cross bars installed by thor. Feel free to zoom the pics, sad.
The rest are of the passengers side.
Note: daylight in one, massive air flow, big void with NO anything, thats most of the road noise i’m guessing.
Please comment on them,
Terry

Sorry…. you know I had to read it!

When I had my coach at the Service Center to fox my front cap, they told me they used spray foam insulation in those areas to reduce the road / air noise. It does sound a little quieter.

What’s really sad is that it wouldn’t take much work or money to make this all go away….. permanently.

I woukd really like to see Thor create a Customer Advisory Board like some companies do. They could select a cross section of owners actoss the various models and then meet twice a year to get real world feeback and recommendations on how to improve these coaches from the ground up.

Thor….. if you are interested in starting a Customer Advisory Board, give me a call. I’d be happy to volunteer my time and participate.

The house walls are basically not even attached to the cab! How can that not be a safety issue?

A while back someone said we should be reporting this front cap issue to the NHTSA. After seeing these pictures I'm not sure that is a bad idea.

We need to link this thread, Judges thread and the others under the Super C front cap issue thread that I just started.

Come on brother..... you know I had to read it!!!!

I appreciate you posting all these pictures. It really provides insight to everyone with a Thor Super C.

If you are doing all this work yourself, I'm impressed!!!! I do a ton of upgrades, repairs and maintenance myself...... but tearing everything apart inside to gain access to all of the body mounting points is something I'm not sure I would tackle on my own.

You sir... are a steely-eyed missle man!
