Had the engine running then tried just accessory but no luck. Do you happen to know where the fuse is? Thors wiring diagram is not helpful neither is the ford book. Thanks...

No luck with the fans fuse good. Will have to remove one and put it on the bench and test it. There has to be a fuse somewhere for this. Nothing is easy.

Last summer, we were not getting any response from our cab a/c fans...by accident, I pulled off the dial/control knob ... the plastic had become brittle (yes on a brand new rv) and had broken into 3-4 pieces. We super glued them back together and fan has worked well since. This may or may not be our problem, but might be well worth checking.

We, also, checked the other knobs and found all of them faulty.

We did not address the problem with Thor, as we figured that the bin of knobs were all the same !!

Good luck !

Since those fans are installed by Thor and not Ford searching Ford's documentation would be a waste of time.

Have to tried calling or emailing Thor and asking them? Might get an answer faster than blindly searching where nobody has gone before.

thanks for the replies. will give thor a try but have heard that they don't like to talk when you're out of warranty. Who knows might get lucky. Keep you posted.

Ron Johnson (Thor Customer Service)and I have been communication by e-mail for the past 18 months. It did not stop when my coach went out of warranty in January. I have been doing some coach house modifications and value his opinions on how to proceed and parts sources.

Not trying to ask a stupid question but mine have a switch up on the fan also. Did you by chance check those and make sure no one has changed them? Thx, Dennis.

I have a new 2019 Windsport 29 M. Under warranty. Tech changed fuse. Before we could pull out of the parking lot the fans stopped working. Any suggestions?

The defroster fans draw about 8 amps each and you probably have a 15 amp fuse. The defroster fan fuse is located down by the drivers left foot. It should be a 20 amp fuse.

Cab Fans over driver and passenger

Thank you Beau,
I did not specify ceiling fans in the cab.
Are we speaking about the same thing? Thank you.

The fans at the corners of the windshield in the front cap are defroster fans. They are meant to aid is defrosting the windshield as the dash A/C alone will not do a good job. The other fans in the coach are ventilation fans meant to remove hot, humid air from the coach. Most Thor installed items in the front cap (drivers compartment) are powered by the chassis battery through the forward fuse panel down by the drivers left foot. Of course there are exceptions like the 12 volt power ports, USB ports, radio, jacks, etc. Most other 12 volt devices are powered by the house batteries and the fused for those items are in the power center (under the bed in plant 750 coaches). Again there are exceptions as the circuit breaker for the jacks and the inverter (if installed) are in the battery compartment.

I'm sure you checked the obvious but on mine the wire connections to the dash switches for the fans and gennie were very loose, disconnected at random until I secured them.
