Cabinet organizers

Figured I start a post for suggestions on how some travelers keep supplies in their cabinets.

After traveling I always forget to open the cabinet door SLOWLY !

I am getting good catching everything from coffee cups to toasters. But I'm sure some out there have addressed and corrected this surprise.

I'm hoping you will share some fixes with us.

Rule One: Limit the stacking. Build more shelves if you have to...
Rule Two: non-slip surfaces are your best friend...

My wife has everything in low side boxes......easy to remove/replace and prevents items from falling out.

This stuff is everywhere in my coach...drawers, cabinets, storage lockers, between the few glass plates and bowls...everywhere. We also wrap wine glasses in those "mesh sleeves" they give you at the wine store. Prepping the cabinets before you leave every time is as standard as retracting the slides. For the bigger things I'll stuff dish towels around and between them. I've found it''s best to live by paper plates and bowls, plastic forks and Solo Cups...unless its a steak and wine dinner. There are many different brands but the thicker, softer ones at CW are better.

I agree with Gritz, I use that stuff everywhere and beyond. Want to keep the dishes and bowls from rattling while driving down the road, put this in between each plate and bowl. Keep your silverware tray from sliding, put his under it.

I got two large rolls of this for the price of one at CW at one of the warehouse stores. Still have one roll left.
