Can someone tell me what sealant to use from the TPO roof to the side molding

Hi,
2020 Thor motorhome. It has what must be self level Dicor on the top of the roof. But on the side molding from the roof it is clear like Geocel. It looks like the same sealant as what they used on all the sides it’s clear.
I’m not looking to use Eternabond at this point by the way.

Not sure what the manufacturer used (if that is what you are asking). Try ProFlexRV. I purchased a tube from a local RV shop. It is clear. I used it around my window frame when I had my Class C.

I would check with Thor
Proflex says not to use with TPO.....(I just went thru finding this out....)
https://www.geocelusa.com/product/pr...xible-sealant/

There is a non leveling dicor.
https://dicorproducts.com/product/no...-lap-sealants/

hope this helps

Yes I like the factory stuff they used and read to not use that Proflex on TPO. But there is one of them that says it can be used with a primer.
I read it but don’t know where to find it now.
I did call Thor by the way and they rep I spoke to wasn’t sure. He said he would try to ask in the assembly plant. 🤷🏻*♂️

So this Geocel says it works on TPO but also says unavailable. I put a inquirer in to Geocel so we will see what they say. Otherwise it looks like Dicor non sag.

Looks like it is going to be Dicor going over whatever it is. Know one knows what the clear stuff is from the factory. But Dicor will do the trick.
